Summer Bridge '17
Registration deadline- May 19, 2017 (Registration Form)
Book Clubs will feature the assigned summer reading books for students entering sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth grade. The book is included in the registration fee.
Middle and High School students will develop and sharpen their writing skills as they learn the writing process and proper formatting. For students entering grades 6 – 12.
A Health Class will be offered for credit toward completion of requirements for a high school diploma.
Math Mania: Refresh, Replenish, Review
This class will provide math help for students who want to refresh their word problem and basic skills during the summer!
This class is strongly encouraged for incoming 6th graders, as well as 7th and 8th graders.
Hispanic Culture Class
Students will study a variety of indigenous peoples, visit a museum exhibit of Mexican Art, and create projects relating to that culture, including work on the Pecha Kucha project that is a requirement for Pre-AP Spanish 3 and AP Spanish IV. This class will count as credit toward completion of elective requirements for a high school diploma. There is no pre-requisite; this class is open to any level Spanish Students
Students will learn Trout Fishing history, techniques, and fishing strategies. Includes a three day and two night camping and fishing to Beavers Bend, Oklahoma.

The Gorman Athletic Department is offering several sports camps this summer:

There will be an inter-school robotics camp this summer that will include MS and HS students from Bishop Gorman, Brook Hill, Grace Community, and the local home school association at Calvary Baptist Church.
