Summer Bridge '18
Final Registration deadline- May 25, 2018 (Registration Form)
Book Clubs will feature the assigned summer reading books for students at each grade level 6th – 12th grades. Classes will help students build analytical skills, as well as begin or complete assignments related to their assigned summer reading. The book is included in the registration fee.
College Writing Workshops
Students will gain experience and improve their skills at writing a proposal thesis, researching, selecting credible sources, creating an annotated bibliography, outlining, and completing a paper. Classes in both MLA and APA style will be offered.
College Writing: Literary Analysis
Students will build literary analysis skills by researching and writing based on summer reading books in MLA format, including annotations, a thesis, and a final draft of the paper.
Math Mania: Refresh, Replenish, Review
Students will review basic skills, play math games, practice short cut methods, and strengthen their foundations for pre-algebra or algebra. Grades 6th – 9th
This class is strongly encouraged for 6th graders and other incoming students.
Students will learn Trout Fishing history, techniques, and fishing strategies. Includes a three day and two-night camping and fishing to Beavers Bend, Oklahoma.
