Gormanfest Numbers Are In! Gormanfest official total is in: because of YOU, the net total for 2017 is an impressive $100,000.00!!! Thank you for volunteering, selling chance drawing tickets, playing a game or bidding on an auction item, it all adds up in a big way for our students and our school!! The Fund a Cause event alone raised enough money to completely update the computer lab with 18 state of the art iMac computers! Stay tuned for other projects and improvements to be made during this school year!
High School One Act Play State Championship Honors The high school one act play, “The Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket”, placed fourth out of the top eight schools at the TAPPS One Act Play State Championships held in Kerrville recently. Connor Bate and Darby Owen both received All Star Cast acting awards. Augie D’Eramo and Nic Land received Honorable Mention acting awards. Other cast and crew members were Matthew Ministrelli, Jacob Nemec, Brooklyn Wageman, Lindy Navara, Sloane Salitore, Mary Alice Sattler, Jacob Viray, Vianney Herrera, Katie McBee, Cailyn Carl, and Taylor Florendo. Congratulations to these talented actors!

Johannah Carmona Receives Top Orchestra Honors Bishop Gorman Senior Johannah Carmona earned a chair as a violist in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State Symphony Orchestra. Earning a chair in the TMEA All-State Orchestra is the highest and most prestigious honor. Johannah is the first Bishop Gorman student since 1970 to earn a chair in the All-State Orchestra. She will perform in the All-State Orchestra in San Antonio, TX on February 17, 2018
National Merit Semi-Finalist Congratulations to senior, William Z. Kariampuzha, who has been named a Semifinalist in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program. He is one of approximately 16,000 high school seniors selected who have an opportunity to continue in the competition throughout the fall of 2017 and spring of 2018. He will compete to become a finalist for the full Merit Scholarship Award.
