“As interim athletic director, I am committed to creating an environment for positive growth and development for not only our student-athletes, but also our coaches. I have been very fortunate to be involved in Bishop Gorman athletics in several different roles and am very excited to be leading our department in this next chapter for our school's history. We are a God-first, faith-based athletic program and will continue to be the rock in the foundation for our community," says Davis.

Felipe Natera, another longtime faculty member and coach and a graduate of the class of 1999, will be stepping into the role of Assistant to the Athletic Director. Coach Natera also serves as the school’s Visual and Media Director and head boys track and field coach.

Kaitlynn Lewis, who is heading up the girls volleyball program, has been serving as a Club Coach for Infinity Volleyball and as a Graduate Athletic Director Assistant at Texas College where she is earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was a member of the volleyball team.  Lewis will also assist with the girls basketball and track programs.

Bernard Anderson, who is heading up the girls basketball program, comes with a strong background of coaching at Bishop Gorman.  A full-time member of the staff, he has served as head middle school boys basketball coach for four years and as assistant high school boys basketball coach for two years and was named the 2022 TAPPS 4A District 2 Assistant Coach of the Year.  Anderson also assists with the football and track programs.

Bradi Ware, the 2022 TAPPS 4A District 2 Co-Assistant Coach of the Year and the 2022 Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Girls Middle School Coach of the Year, will be returning for her third year with the program, serving as Coach Anderson’s assistant coach and the head middle school girls basketball coach.

“There is a lot of excitement for this upcoming school year. We have an incredibly talented coaching staff who are fired up to make this a very successful year for BG sports,” added Davis.
