Mr. Calhoun's science classes have finished our graphs for inherited human traits! We learned a lot about the importance of detailed data collection, using different types of graphs to represent the data differently, and we talked a lot about potential sources of error. Enjoy!

We love birthdays at SG!

At Easter we see signs of new life. We remember that Jesus is alive. Kindergarten celebrated Easter today with an Easter egg hunt! 🐣
#saintsandscholars

3rd grade working on Easter cards for the many young boys currently in a shelter in Dallas who’ve entered the country unaccompanied. Their cards wish them peace & safety during the Easter season, & offer our prayers for them, especially for them to be with their families again.

Bishop Strickland has shared some ways to make these last days of Easter even more meaningful. Take a look when you have a chance. May the SG community have a blessed Easter and remember that our community is strong because we pray for each other.

Early release of next week’s Squire Talk! As we enter Holy Week, one of the great celebrations of the week is the institution of the priesthood.
This week’s Squire Talk is titled, “Raising Future Priests” which if we’re honest is just about raising kids who love Jesus and his Mother a lot.
Father Edwin is the vocations director for the Diocese of Dallas, forming now over 60 men in seminary, he is a high school chaplain and he is pastor of a parish. 😳 He’s BUSY! But he pauses here to share his experience as a kid and what helped him love God (it was NOT having a picture perfect Catholic family), struggles among families who have sons called to be priests, the sanctity of ordinary family life and encouragement to families raising kids in these times.

Mr. Calhoun's science classes have analyzed all of our data for inherited traits of students at St. Gregory. Now, we are building very large graphs to put on display for the whole school to see!
