The Bishop Gorman Lady Crusaders picked up another win yesterday, edging Weatherford Christian in overtime, 51-48. Bishop Gorman placed second in the First Baptist Academy Tournament. They begin district play next Tuesday, hosting All Saints. 13-5 on the season!

Lamar University head football coach Blane Morgan announced the signing of 23 new recruits, including Dozie Ifeadi from Bishop Gorman in Tyler. Ifeadi was highly recruited, earning All-District honors for the Crusaders from his wide receiver position.

Two recent Bishop Gorman graduates have completed their first semester at LSU, and have been recognized for their academic achievement. Delaney Douglas was named to the President's Honor Roll (4.0 GPA with 15 + hours), and Valerie Macedo made the Dean's List, (GPA between 3.50 and 3.99 and 15 + hours). Outstanding!
