I would like to get the word out about our high school and middle school baseball programs. Currently, we have our entire coaching staff with college baseball playing experience and coaching experience. Coach Bruce Johnson, a former Texas College player is our head assistant varsity coach. Coach Mason Smith, the former UTTyler Patriot, is the strength and conditioning coordinator and assistant varsity coach. Coach Cody Miles, the former San Jacinto Juco Gator, is the head Junior High Coach. Today was a big day for the 6th grade orchestra! At the beginning of the year we put lots of focus on correct form. When a student achieves this they get their bow license, which gives them the privilege of playing with their bow and left hand together. There were lots of smiles!

Oceanography students at Bishop Gorman have been dissecting squid during their recent lab work.
Check out the Bishop Gorman 6th Graders Saint Quilt. Each student explored the life of a saint and created a square of the "quilt" by writing a short biography and an acrostic, and drawing a picture of the saint. The "quilt" turned out beautifully. Great job 6th Graders.
Middle School artists produced nice work this morning while practicing watercolor technique.
