2000, 2001 State Soccer Champions Inducted into Bishop Gorman Hall Of Fame
The 2000 and 2001 Crusaders TAPPS state soccer champions were honored last Friday with induction into the Bishop Gorman Athletic Hall of Fame.
Several members of the championship squad were in attendance as well as the family of late coach Ed Olmos, along with the families of the Crusaders.
A ceremony and luncheon officially inducted the teams as the Class of 2024 Hall of Fame at the Brodnax Family Crusader Center. Team members were presented individual plaques while two large plaques will remain on display on the Hall of Fame Wall.

Manuel Lozano, and Roberto Lozano named to East Texas Football Week 8 Honor Roll
Manuel Lozano had 17 tackles, three tackles for loss and a forced fumble, and he also had two catches for 42 yards in a 16-14 loss to All Saints in five overtimes. Roberto Lozano had eight tackles, three tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a blocked punt.
