Congratulations to All-Montgomery County Coach of the Year Tanner Field (Class of 2000)!

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up (1 Thessalonians 5:11). Thank you to our awesome BG cheerleaders for doing just that!

#ThrowbackThursday On this, the anniversary of the opening of our school on September 2, 1958, we remember the men and women who answered the call to build a Catholic high school in Tyler. Their generous dedication and donations to the successful campaign have enabled thousands of East Texas students to receive an exemplary education grounded in the teachings of the Catholic church. For each and every one of them, the Crusader community is profoundly grateful. #TBT

Join the Men of Gorman in prayer each Friday!

#ThrowbackThursday We've got spirit, yes we do! The styles may have changed, but our Crusader spirit remains the same. Do any of these cheerleaders look familiar to you? Tag them below! #TBT

The Bishop Gorman football game scheduled for Friday against Northland Christian has been canceled.
Today Bishop Strickland celebrated our first all school Mass at the Chapel of Sts. Peter and Paul. What a blessing it was to gather together to worship and pray and to be reminded that Jesus is the Cornerstone.
Look who's been spotted lending her expertise to the middle school volleyball team -- none other than Kaye Fackrell, the 2000 TAPPS 3A Female Coach of the Year and science teacher extraordinaire! Coach Fackrell coached her Lady Cru volleyball teams to great success at the state level, and her assistant coach was yet another beloved member of the BG family -- Mary Schick, our principal and science teacher. There must be a science to volleyball!

#ThrowbackThursday What was your favorite school lunch? Bonus points if you can name our beloved cafeteria manager or alumni in the photos! #TBT
The first day of school is in the books! We loved seeing everyone back in the hallways and classrooms. It's going to be a great year!

The Class of 2022 gathered for their (last) first day of school photo. We look forward to supporting these exceptional seniors throughout the year on their journey to graduation! Welcome back Crusaders!

The Crusader Extravaganza was packed with fun, fellowship, football, and a little bit of fundraising too. We can't wait to see you next week!

The BG football team spent the weekend painting our house and getting ready to welcome Crusader fans back to McCallum Stadium for the Crusader Extravaganza this Thursday from 5-7:30 pm. All are invited to come meet and greet our coaches, find out how to support our student-athletes and teams, and cheer on the Cru during their 6:00 pm scrimmage against Carlisle!

Two-a-day practices are in full swing, and we can't wait to see our cross country, football, and volleyball teams take the field in the next few weeks. Go Crusaders!
