UPDATE: Bishop Gorman Crusader Athletics
Dear Bishop Gorman Family,
The athletic department met yesterday with the in-season coaches to touch base, regroup and establish a plan for all sports as we continue to move forward. Our sports teams are meeting with constant challenges and we want to reassure students and parents that we will continue to provide support and direction for all parties with the overall best interests in mind. The snow and ice will have caused some damage to our outdoor fields and facilities and we will make every effort to get everything back in working order. Please keep us in your prayers.

Bishop Gorman junior guard Taylor Wood was recently nominated for the "Jersey Mike's Naismith High School Basketball Courage Award". Wood has had a big year on the court for the Lady Crusaders, averaging 15 points and nine rebounds a game for the state ranked Crusaders.

The Bishop Gorman Lady Crusaders will host Grace Prep (Arlington) in basketball action scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) in Haddad Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.

Spring Gorman Garage Sale!
St. Gregory and Bishop Gorman will be closed this Friday.
The cities of Tyler and Whitehouse have issued a boil water notice due to low water pressure levels. Be safe!
Bishop Gorman and St. Gregory will be closed through at least Thursday due to weather. Updates on closings will be sent through the school the TCS app and email. Informational postings can be found on the LiveFeed section of the school app, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Due to weather conditions, Bishop Gorman and St. Gregory will be closed Tuesday (tomorrow).
Tonight’s home boys basketball game vs Carlisle has been postponed due to the weather. We will post if and when it is rescheduled.
The Bishop Gorman Open House scheduled for this Sunday has been postponed due to weather concerns and will be rescheduled to a later date.

Game schedule . . . Shelton and Grace Prep have both been moved and rescheduled . . . again. Here is our remaining schedule as of this morning.
Tuesday - February 16 - CHESS Homeschool (Sulphur Springs). HERE - 6:00.
Thursday - February 18 @ Shelton - 5:00.
Saturday - February 20. Grace Prep - HERE. 1:00.
TAPPS has moved back the start and finish of the state playoffs. Bi-District on the 23rd (we would have a bye). Area Championship on the 27th (we would host). Regional Championship and Final Four . . . to be determined.

Once again, Congratulations to the Middle School Boys and Girls CSAC District Champions! Both teams were undefeated in District and the boys had a perfect season. Outstanding!
Congratulations to Josafat Covarrubias on being the Bishop Gorman recipient of the University of Texas at Tyler Presidential Scholarship. This is a full-ride 4 year scholarship! Outstanding!
