The Bishop Gorman Lady Crusaders are wrapping up their first week of basketball practice. Two scrimmage games and three regular season are on the schedule next week as the team prepares for another playoff run.

High school students develop their campus project in conjunction with UT Tyler's 11th Annual Emerging Leaders Conference. This year's conference focuses on "Leadership in a Time of Crisis."

The latest lab work for our middle school science students found the students busy building models of the cell cycle.

High students enjoy an acting workshop hosted by AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Students were joined by guest Noam Shapiro, a native New Yorker, bi-coastal actor, and writer. Theatre and film credits include Broadway's Future Songbook Series at Lincoln Center, Choosing Love by Chisa Hutchinson at The Vineyard Theater, Better Than My Last starring Hassan Johnson (The Wire, Brooklyn's Finest) and Our Way Home (HollyShorts Film Festival). Noam has produced and directed staged readings of his Hip-Hop themed play, RADIO, and is in pre production for the short film O.T. as writer, producer, and actor (co-produced by and co-starring Luke Tennie from Deadly Class and Snowfall). Noam is a graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and teaches acting at their High School Summer Conservatory.
