students

Each year Bishop Gorman seniors earn millions of dollars in college scholarships, and 100% of students are accepted into post-secondary academic institutions.  33 students in the Class of 2022 received more than $7.6 million in college scholarships ($230,000 on average per student). 42% of these students were accepted to Honors Programs.

33% of the Class of 2022 and 22% of the Class of 2023 were selected for the College Board National Recognition Program. These students have earned this recognition through their outstanding performance on their Fall 2020 PSAT/NMSQT®, PSAT™ 10, and/or their AP® Exams and in the classroom based on qualifying GPA. Being a National Recognition Program Scholar yields many additional college scholarship offers for our seniors.

Such honors arise from a dedication to academic excellence at all levels of the school and are celebrated quarterly in the Middle School and at each semester in the High School with Honors Convocations to call attention to the students earning Principal’s Honor Roll, Honor Roll, and special academic distinctions.

AP Scholars

In 2022, 15 students were recognized as AP Scholars (students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams), two students were recognized as AP Scholars with Honors (students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams), and one student was recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction (students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams).
