Congratulations to the varsity cheerleaders for a fifth place finish at the TAPPS State Cheer Championship. Our Crusader mascot also competed in an individual competition and placed THIRD in the state! Four cheerleaders received All State nominations as well: Sloane Salitore, Alexa Strong, Claire Testa and Emma Schuermann. Congratulations!

The two middle school girls basketball teams at BISHOP GORMAN have opened the season with a combined 5-0 record. They will be back in action tomorrow (Thursday), hosting Longview Christian Heritage with games starting at 4:00.

After picking up their fourth consecutive win, the Bishop Gorman Lady Crusaders are now ranked 6th in the state (TAPPS 4A). The green and white have three home games this week and will try to build on the current winning streak!

The Bishop Gorman family spent the day yesterday working with the Salvation Army. BG faculty, staff, administration, coaches and family members took turns ringing the bell for 10 hours. It was a great day! We were blessed to help our community.
