It is with a heavy heart that Mr. Watson announces the passing of the BG Suburban. It took its final breathe recently while on route to assist with Gormanfest.
The Varsity cheerleaders won 4th place at the State TAPPS Championship. They also earned a Superior Team award and 4 cheerleaders made the All State Team. First Team: Sloane Salitore & Julia Eddings. Second Team: Alexa Strong. Honorable Mention: Claire Testa. Congratulations lady Crusaders !!
The fun and uplifting High School One Act Play "How to Kiss a Girl" by Wade Bradford will be performed for both middle school and high school students (and any friends, faculty, or family available at that time!) on Tuesday November 12th at 9:10am in the High School Gym. There will also be a public, evening performance/fundraiser on Thursday, November 21st at 6:00pm, and proceeds will benefit the Drama Club.
The Bishop Gorman Catholic School 2019-2020 Yearbook is on sale now! This year’s yearbook will be a full-color, hard-cover, 160-page book created by a certified Graphic Designer, Shelley Griffin, with the help of student and staff photos and information.
The Lady Crusaders of Bishop Gorman (Tyler, Texas) picked up their second win of the season last night, beating Christian Heritage (Longview), 48-26.
The Lady Crusader Basketball team opened their season last night, posting a 56-35 road win over Winona. The team had three players in double figure scoring, with sophomore Taylor Wood posting a team high 15 points. Bella Aragaw and Elizabeth Mahfood each had 13.
The yearbook for the 2019-2020 school year is on sale now! The theme is Psalms: 147, “He counts the stars and calls each by name.” It will be a 160 page, hard-cover, full-color yearbook created by a certified Graphic Designer, Shelley Griffin. Yearbooks are selling for $65 until December 20, 2019. The price goes up to $75 after the deadline. Books should be ready to ship by the last week in April to ensure they are delivered before graduation.
Mrs. Alyssa Navetta attended both St. Gregory and Bishop Gorman and is a 2006 alumna. She is a Faith Community Nurse from Catholic Charities of East Texas, who received her Bachelor of Science in nursing 10 years ago.
