Bishop Gorman Catholic School announces new principal

TYLER, TEXAS — Bishop Gorman Catholic School in Tyler has named Mr. John Kimec as its new principal, starting in the 2022-23 school year.

Bishop Gorman Students Awarded Academic Honors by the College Board National Recognition Program

Four Bishop Gorman Catholic School students were among the 32,000 high school students from across the country to earn academic honors from the College Board’s National Recognition Programs.  The students who earned these honors are:

Bishop Gorman Catholic School Celebrates Founders Day

On October 5, Bishop Joseph Strickland, Father Zachary Dominguez, and Deacon Keith Fournier led Bishop Gorman Catholic School students in prayer and blessed the faculty, staff, and students and every learning and extracurricular space on campus just as Bishop Thomas Gorman did at the dedication of the school on October 5, 1958.  During the prayer service Bishop Strickland addressed the students, reminding them to "Speak to the Lord, He is really with us! And pray that His Spirit will guide all the work that we do at this school."
